What do you all think about people that wear team logo's and are clueless about the team?
It drives me nuts when people wear team logo's just as a style! At work, there wis this cook who ALWAYS has Yankee "stuff" on. I was talking about baseball one day and I realised he had no idea what I was talking about! So I asked him the easiest question I could think of, pertaining to the Yankee's. I asked him who the short stop was? He had no idea! What do you all think of people like this?

I would have to agree with you on the style thing. That's all it is. Just like people who wear "Old Navy" shirts or any other shirt that does it's own advertising. :(How about anyone wearing clothing that is advertisement for anything.People are like walking billboards now.

i run into this a lot, if you are going to follow (meaning in my opinion wearing their stuff) the team of any sport, you should have some knowledge of the team (s). i had a guy who works for a race team who gave me a signed hat from a majornascar driver and a co-worker got upset because he didn't get one, i told him if he could tell me the driver i would give it to him, he couldn't do it. idiot.

People wear team logos when they know nothing about the team because they are quite appealing. Sports is big in about every state and the logos show that you are from that state. If you see a people in New York wearing a Yankee hat, it doesn't necessarily mean that they know anything about baseball, they just want to show people that they are a "true" New Yorker who is loyal to their town. Also, people get attention when wearing team logos and such. Everybody knows team logos because sports is popular, so they pay attention if someone is wearing a Detroit Pistons jersey. It's a way to get recognized.wanna be's, and some one who shouldnt be able to wear that logo

Great question!! I hate that! Baseball hats and logos are for people who are supporters of the team, and actually know a little something something about the game! It bugs me. For example, at school some little preppy clueless girls wear twins shirts, and know NOTHING about baseball. I want those shirts! And I know a LOT about baseball!
