Why can't I ever be happy with myself? (Softball)?
Question:I made the softball team, and she called out groups of 2 or 3. The first 2 where the only 2 cut. Then she called my group, and we all made it. I was in a group with a girl who is pretty good, and a girl who never played in her life, but is still good. Then the last group where obviously the best 3 on the team. Now I think that I was 1 group away from being cut. It probably wasn't, but I can not be happy with myself. Do you think she did it in order?

You made the team, that's what's important. Don't doubt yourself, becasue if you lose your confidence, you WILL make mistakes. I don't necessarily think there was any order. As a coach, I look for what my players have inside also, like determination, focus and effort. As long as they possess those qualities in addition to having the necessary skills, I'm happy.Cheer up! You made the team and there is a reason for that. Your coach sees potential in you. And if you don't get happy that you made the team and you don't play your hardest, she's going to regret her decision. Congrats on your make!!
