The 40 million dollar team with team chemistry. They will go out everyday and play hard for EACH OTHER, and though they may not be the most skilled or talented players they will give you everything they have because as I said they are playing for each other.Why doesn't the scoreboard show a team I selected?

I'd have to go with the 300 million dollar team. No self respecting player would willingly sign with a team with only a 40 million dollar budget, because he would know that his team could only afford one good player. A world series team has to have at least 3 all star level players.Team chemistry. The Yankees are a great team and they are always making the playoffs but haven't quite gotten over the hump for quite some time now. There are other teams as well including the Dodgers and Chicago Cubs. Heck, the Red Sox had to buy their world series a couple years ago.
Over time, the high payroll wins out. If you are looking to win 1 year, then I want to catch lightning in a bottle and go with the low payroll.
There is a good example of that right now the Yankees have a 195 million dolar payroll and are in last place in the AL East behind the Devil Rays who have a 29 million dollar payroll.Tampas payroll is only 2 million dollars more than A Rod makes pretty sad huh.
