I have a Statscreen Scorecard and need a new battery. Does anyone know what the battery number is for it?

Question:The Statscreen Scorecard is an electronic baseball scorecard. I've had it since 2001. I would just go to the manufacturer of the device but they went out of business about 8 months after I got it. The rechargable battery is getting to the point where I almost can't get through a 9 inning game without it dying on me. I went to Radio Shack one day to see if they had a replacement, but the guy basically said if the battery doesn't have a number on it, he can't help me. It does not say in the manual what type of battery it is either. The battery is about the size of 4 AA batteries put together with a small square connection where you plug it in. Does anyone else have a Statscreen? If so, do you know what kind of battery goes with it? I really enjoy it and do not want to stop using it when the battery finally dies on me for good. Any help would be greately apprecieated.
