Why in MLB do the managers come to the game in uniform?
Question:I mean they don't play, Right? Just curious to know if there was a reasoning or tradition that started it... thanks

So what was that Red Sox fan's beef anyway?
In the early days of baseball many of the managers were also players so it made sense for a manager to dress in uniform - since he could put himself into the game at anytime. It just sort of stayed that way.
Anyone know at what Hotel in For Lauderdale the Phillies stay when they play the Marlins?
They like to play dress up.after the game, they change into womens clothes, and prance aroundIt is just something that has been done in the past maybe because even though they dont 'play' they are still part of the team. I would say it's just tradition now because if a new manager was to come to the league and not dress in uniform, it wouldn't be accepted.
In baseball, what's the difference between and fly ball and a pop up?
