Question:come on they have the best record in baseball, their starting pitching is amazing, prince and hardy are both producing a lot of hrs, and turnbow and cordero are putting up possibly the best su and cp numbers in the mlb. still, they are not getting much national attention.

Second, it is really, really early in the season. Last, the national media is always late on this stuff (ex. Golden State Warriors of NBA didn't get any credit through the first 5 games of playoff series and how they went 6-1 vs Dal. the last yr and a half)

The Brewers will get credit if they maintain this lead thay have in the Central a month from now. With road trips to the east coast, a three gamer against the Twins at home, and a west coast trip ahead, there is a lot of work for this team. yeah the national attention i dont think will ever be there, they are just not one those media darling teams, but i think plenty of people in the know, know what the Brewers are doing.Peter Gammons, i beleive, predicted the Brew Crew to win the division...

Dont listen to these people. the fact is ESPN would rather spend 30 minutes talking about a Yankee,s lose then a win by the Brewers, Indians, or any other team that is not in New York or L.A. They really think the rest of the country cares. lolAm i really so offensive that i need to be eliminated ?

yeah, as long as the yankees and red sox are playing baseball- you'll find that this usually is the case. I am an indians fan, so I know the drill. Yeah, ESPN would rather spend all its time talking about the yankees losing their games and their "bad" pitching--that they really don't talk about the teams that are actually winning. And now that they have signed Clemens, we will be lucky if other teams are even mentioned! But as long as the brewers keep it up till the end of the season, ESPN will have to acknowelge them at some point!the team with the ugliest players are defintley the yankees but the hottest are the mets they have the best looking players in my opinion
In September if they still have the best record in MLB I will give them credit. Until then I feel like they are a very good team that needs to show that they can do it for the whole season.
