You need to even out your swing. Try hitting off a tee for a while until you get the muscel memory to have a level swing. 30-60 swings a day for a couple of weeks should help you develop a more even swing.

How do you throw a slider??

YES . WHATS CAUSING YOU TO HIT GROUNDERS IS YOUR HITTING THE TOP OF THE BALL.BUT WHEN YOU HIT UNDER THE BALL BY BY BALL.

Why is the press trying to drive a wedge between whites and blacks with respect to Barry Bonds homerun chase?

You are probably hitting on top of the ball. Hand placement is key. You want your hands to remain in but up. Try relaxing your bat on your shoulder and as the pitch begin to pitch, tap your should once and as the bat comes up, it should bring your hands into a good hitting position. Also don't attack the ball. Let your hands and bat speed take over and don't worry about over swinging. Over swinging causes ground balls a lot or worse pop ups.

How many hit will it take for Houston # 7 to get 3000 hits?

I'd have to agree that hitting grounders is better than flys, unless you plan on hitting it out of the park every time.

But to answer the question, tee work and especially focus on contact point and hitting the ball where it is pitched.

How many MLB baseball players hit 2 or more homeruns in a single game in 1917 ?

you're too much on top of the ball, even out your swing. it might be something like steppin out, not breakin wrists, not keepin head in,.. dont watch the ball ither it goes farther when you dont. just hit it more through the middle insead of top or bottom, it will get up and you have a better chance of hitting line drives, loger balls, etc.

What pitcher won 3 consecutive triple crowns?

If you're chopping at the ball that might be a problem. Even out your swing. But make a note not to golf the ball. If you golf it, you might get it to the outfield, but it'll be an easy pop-fly a lot of times.

Here's a nice drill to help you crush the ball.

Get a regular baseball or a softer ball, whatever you feel comfortable with. Get a long rope and tie the rope around the ball. Get a ladder and tie the rope around a tree branch if you can. Get your favorite baseball bat to swing with. If the rope is too high or too low for you to swing level, cut the rope so its just right. Now when the ball is comfortable, start hitting the ball. Make sure you swing level when doing this. Its very likely that when doing this drill, you can hit it to the outfield because your bat speed and power will work up. But don't swing as hard as you can. At least not yet. After 30 cuts of swinging level and hard, but not too hard, you can notice that you'll be hitting harder in no time. Do this daily. After about a week of doing this, get a brother or sister to pitch a ball to you and swing at it. Compare this to your hits before doing this.

I hope this drill will help you a lot!!!
