Are you an idiot? The Yankees shouldn't fire anyone. It's early in the season and they have plenty of time to get it right. This is typical of Yankee fans, calling for drastic changes because they aren't in first place from wire-to-wire. Lighten up and don't worry until they are at least 10 games back in August. Any earlier than that and there is no need to worry. The pitchers will all come back and the team will still have to outslug everyone because thats the way they were built. No, the trainers should not be fired. Monahan and Donahue are two of the best, the injuries are not their fault. After last season, the Yankees fired their strength and conditioning coach and hired several new ones. After the game on Tuesday, the reporters asked Torre if the injuries were because of the new way that the Yankees train, but Torre would not say. I don't think it's a coincidence that new strenght and conditioning coaches are hired, and there's a rash of injuries. It's ridiculous to have so many, especially hamstrings.To the moron who gave me a thumbs down, I was right! Today, the strenght and conditioning people WERE FIRED!!
