Would Phillip Hughes have thrown the no hitter if he did not get hurt?

Would you want your team to be run like the yankees or red sox?
I don't think so. There are literally hundreds of players who go 6 or 7 innings without allowing a hit every season. Wang took a no hitter into the 8th yesterday, Hudson took a no hitter into the 6th a couple weeks ago and I know there have been a few others this season too.The fact is that pitchers get tired as the game goes on, thusly, the longer they pitch the more likely they are to give up a hit.
Another thing to look at is normally the number of K's the pitcher has. It is more difficult for pitchers to throw a no hitter if they don't strike people out because the more often a ball gets hit into play the more likely they are to get a hit.
I'm not saying that there is no way he would have, but my guess is that he would have given up a hit if not three or four.
No.

It's sad to say but no one would know for sure. I feel so sorry for the guy. I actually cried. It's such a bummer. Go figure.Any reds or giants player will make the NL all-star team?
i think so. He was throwing great all night. I think he was very capable of throwing a no hitter. It was very unfortunate though that he got a hamstring injury and that he had to be placed on the DL. I feel very bad for him but he should be proud of the work he did that night...b/c he did amazing. I cant wait till Philip Hughes comes back. GO HUGHES!! Get well soon. GO YANKEES! =)If you could chose anyone to be in your lineup, who would you chose and why?
Nope he would have probably lost the game as well. That question is impossible for anyone to answer.
