Radical Mets Suggestion?
Question:I know it sounds like heresy, and is probably impossible regardless, but should Omar head down to Texas to talk to Clemens? We know he's willing to play in NY, we know he's illing to play for an NL team, we know he wants to play for a team with a chance to win, so why not? We need a starter, I'm sure we could make some concessions if need be (We might not even need to, as word is his family wouldn't mind living in NY), Piazza's gone, and even Yankee fans were able to forgive him for being a Red Sock (Is that the proper singular form?) and headhunting them as a Blue Jay. I say its worth a shot, and it would certainly make us the team to beat.

Any body heard of ed armbrister a reds outfielder in the 70s?
I think the Mets have a team chemistry that might be disturbed if Roger Clemens were to come here. Everyone is having a good time and doing what they need to do. We'll have a fresh Pedro back later in the year that will hopefully be himself. It's a scary thought though, imagine this rotation. Clemens, Pedro, Glavine, El Duque, Maine, and even Perez if he keeps this up.Orioles fans- What happened to BJ Surhoff?
I was thinking the same thing the other day, honestly. The Mets are in desperate need of a good starter and Clemens would be a nice 1 season rental. But I dont think he'll pitch here.Which player looks like he loves his job and which one wishes he was somewhere else?
The Mets suck and I hope Roger never thinks of going there. The only reason he ever played for Houston is b/c its close to home. He is a Yankees fan and his best friend, pettitte is a Yankee, so he will be a Yankee if anything at all.Go braves, Go Yankees.
