My two teams are the Pirates and Indians, but on the highly unlikely chance that they were to meet in the series it would be Indians all the way.If thats the case (that you were cheering for the Tigers) then there is no problem having two favorite teams - one in each league. And with MLB.com and MLB Xtra Innings as well as the internet, its incredibly easy to follow a team.

Maybe a friend or family member plays for them or are in the organization. That's acceptable. Maybe if your lived there or somehow see a lot of games there. Thats acceptable.

Not really. I'm a diehard Red Sox fan, and when I was a kid I had a favorite uncle who just loved the Cardinals. Because I respected my uncle so much, I would route for the Cardinals in the NL, even going so far as to adopt Willie McGee as my favorite NL player.Now that I'm 35, married, and with two kids...I just don't care about the NL anymore.
