There is one other way, and an old friend of mine learned how using this method.
Tie a string to the end of the laces being replaced and unlace. Just follow string when re-lacing.

You can usually find relacing kits at sporting goods stores. They come with laces and a large needle to help you thread the lace through the glove. I prefer to use nylon laces because I use pliers to pull the knots really tight and leather laces break when I do that.The kit is probably the easiest way to go. I used a chopstick last time I needed to relace my glove though. It's pretty simple.
