Here's the deal now a days with cards. Look on the card, if it's serial numbered you can guess its at least worth something. If its not serial numbered, it's likely worthless.Fernando Rodney is a complete bum, why does Jim Leyland keep putting him in?
Check out beckett.com. You can probably find a pricing for all those cards on there.Try Beckett's Baseball Almanac. It's full of helpful information.
your best bet is to buy a beckett at a book store or a drug store in the magazine section and look them up. for the most part they are gonna be a few bucks a piece depending on the manufacturer and wether they are from some kind of subset. subsets will be have a stamped number on them like say, 10 of 250, or something like that. but if these are all just regular rookie cards... you may have one or two that bring in more than ten dollars, but thats about as high as they will go.
Which MLB team played in Forbes Field?
Well, I may not be an "expert", but I have been collecting baseball cards and memorabilia for over 30 years. I can tell you that the condition of the card, how well the player performs, and how popular a player is all factor in on how much a perticular card is worth. Another variable is how many of the cards are produced, and the manufacturer of the card. Most card prices fluctuate over time depending on the player's popularity and performance. For example, when McGwire was going for the home run record, his rookie card price increased on a weekly basis until it reached well over $100.00 dollars. A year or so later, it was back to around it's pre-record price.6 in a row , and 7 of 8. Are you feeling it yet?
