These numbers make up the linescore of a ballgame. The linescore is a summary of how many runs were scored each inning and how many total runs, hits, and errors there were in the ballgame. The numbers should be read like this:4 runs in the 1st inning
3 runs in the 2nd inning
1 run in the 3rd inning
1 run in the 4th inning
1 run in the 5th inning
- (team did not bat in the 6th)
10 runs (total)
10 hits
0 errors
I would assume that this would be the numbers for the home team. The dash (-) would mean that the team did not bat in the bottom of the 6th inning. If the game was supposed to be 6 innings long, they wouldn't have needed to bat because they were winning.
Is this a softball league that plays only 6 inning games? Or is there some kind of 10-run mercy rule that is to be implemented during the 6th inning? Either way, it looks like this game was over after the top of the 6th because the home team was winning in the last inning.
So 431 11- would mean the amount of runs that were scored each inning. Then the next number would be the total number of runs, which was 10. That was their final score while they had 10 hits in the game and made 0 errors.
