Will the Reds compete this year?
Question:with the addition of Jeff Conine and Alex Rodriguez they should
Answers:
Could MLB have done a better job handling the Seattle-Cleveland series?
The Deads will compete and compete well, but I don't think they'll win the division. Maybe they might be vying for the wild card at the end of the season. Jeff Conine will help against left handed pitchers (he already has, and the Deads are 3-1). But they picked up Alex Gonzalez, not Rodriguez. A-Gon is playing shortstop for them, but the Deads would be a better team if Ryan Freel was at short and Josh Hamilton was in center field. (Or better yet, Austin Kearns! Stupid Deads' general manager traded him for nothing in return!)And Judge doesn't know what he is talking about, and should shut his fat face. Evidence of that here:

i dont think so. and they dont have a-rod
It's only about a week into the season, but they seem to be doing well.
Will it last? Probably not.
Does it have to? Probably not, considering how weak the division as a whole is.
The standings are almost always upside-down at this point of the season, but surprise teams keep up their momentum (such as the Tigers last season) and mediocre teams come back to Earth (such as the Reds last season). I'm thinking (and hoping!) that the Reds are still mediocre, but even in the weak NL Central, that's good enough to compete.
In Baseball if there are runners on first and third with one out. The batter flies out.?
nothey wont even make a great appearance
in the post season if they even get there
In what inning has Barry Bonds hit the most home runs?
their competing right now, come Sept. who knowsMaybe... It will be close...
No-beyond Arroyo and Harang, theres not enough starting pitching. There are also not enough offensive impact players. The bullpen doesn't seem to be strong enough either.
Even though they don't have a closer I think they are well stacked with great arms even in the minor leagues! Alex Gonzalez alone should make this team better defensively and offensively they have a very solid club! Jeff Conine also seems to be a solid addition to the club so far!
