Why am I a Cubs fan, two words Harry Carrey. Actaully I have been a CUbs fan ever since we had cable back in the mid-89s. Baseball back then was second only to Nebraska football and being that I had such a time catching any game because the start times would coincide with the time I hit the sack, I tuned into the Cubs on WGN for the afternoon games. Sure the Mets were on WOR and Braves on TBS, but it wasn't the same as getting home from school, homework done and catching the last 4 innings or so of a Cubs game. To this day one of my fondest memories is going to Wrigley Field and singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame with Harry. The Cubs have been as much a part of my life as any sports team and in all honestly they are the reason I still tune in even in this post-steroid era.What's the best baseball book that you've read?

I live just 4hrs away from Chicago what do you my answer is?I'm a Cubs fan cause it's pretty much all I knew growing up. When my parents first got a TV back in the 80's, it only had like 3 channels, one of them being WGN. So in the summer, my mom would watch the Cubs and grew to love them. She loved to see Andre Dawson play and watch Harry Carey sing. Just like her, I fell in love with them too. Just something about them that made them feel special. I loved them then, and I still love them now.
I use to like them. But now I don't thibk they are even playing baseball. Even the Pirates are playing better.
