it's a tricky question because ppl always say that the radar gun used when watching baseball on tv isnt accurate. nolan ryan is in the guiness book of world's records for the fastest pitch at 100.9 mph, but i can remember watching ball games on tv and seeing that radar jump as high as 103. announcers even mention that the last pitch was over 101 but doesn't say anything about being the fastest pitch so i guess those radars are not official.mark wohlers - back in the late 90's when he was the braves closer, i've seen his pitches clock 101 on tv

justin verlander & joel zumaya - last year's playoffs/world series, i saw both of their pitches reach 103. i remember verlander made mulitiple 103 mph pitches to milton bradley in the al playoffs and he still took him deep.
