Which is more exciting cubs vs. sox or yankees vs. mets?
Possibly, but it would take an amazing player. Even if they play for 25 yrs (say an 18 yr old rookie playing till they are 43) they would have to average 40 HR's a year. That would be amazingly consistent and they couldn't have any injury that costs them significant time (tough to do in those later years). Just for some reference here's some age based stats. Most HR's by a player before the age of 23: 115 HR (Mel Ott), ages 23-27: 239 HR (A-Rod), ages 28-32: 279 HR (Sosa), ages 33-37: 254 HR (McGwire), ages 38 and above: 136 (Darrel Evans, though Bonds has 131 as of today). If a single player could match those HR totals he would have 1023. Possible, yes: likely, no.Does anybody care if Barry Bonds breaks the record?

Why was Frank Crosetti never a manager in the Majors?
Yes if the either allow steroids or switch to aluminum bats. Or unless Barry Bonds plays until he is 55 and keeps taking steriods. I think his home run record should not be allowed due to his steroids. Ruth and Aaron did it without steroids, and Ruth did it in a dead ball era. So to me Ruth and Aaron are and will always be the record holders. How to Apply Pine Tar To Helmet?
