Red Sox fans and Yankee fans are so wrapped up in their rivalry they have no idea there are any other teams in MLB. Now, y'all just go on and do and say creatively awful things to each other and amuse us. It's part of what's fun about baseball, and we love you for it.My opinion is that THE most obnoxious fans in baseball, bar none, are the Philadelphia fans. They only love their guys when they're doing well and they rain abuse (if not anything worse!) upon the Phillies when they aren't. And they're nasty to every opposing team...not just the one big rival with a long history.

To me the most obnoxious fans in baseball are those who pretend to have a team and belittle other teams in the process. If the extent of a vocabulary is nothing but epitaphs and slurs then I really don't think that they know as much as they claim.
