Pitchers duel vs. total blowout?
Question:Well, which would you rather see and why? Do you find more thrills in K's or hits? Best answer (not necesarily in agreement with mine) gets the points. I appreciate any and all input. ~N

Pitchers duel for sure!... Nothing cooler than a pitcher having a perfect game/no hitter coming into the 6-9th innings... and then even if he'd blow it, it's still one of the most exciting things you an see. Then if you have two pitchers like that.. haha, just makes it so cool cause it's "who's gonna screw up first"
Alright im 14 and i throw high 70's to low 80's is that good?
They both have the benefits, and on TV, I love a good pitchers duel. But being there live, its gotta be a blowout. Nothing like seeing a ton of balls in play, a ton of runs racked up, and in most cases, the salivating thought of "how many is my team gonna score here" (I am assuming that it is the other team being blown out)Who will be the best Tigers pitcher at the end of the season?
I would rather see a close high scoring game that will have me sitting on the edge of my seat. Like when A-Rod hit a game-winning grand slam against the O's todayIf it's my team playing a total blowout is preferred.
But a great pitching duel is well appreciated as long as my team is at home and gets the last at bat.
I'll take a pitcher's duel as long as we are the last ones to bat.
What's happening to the PHILLIES ???
If I am watching my team I would rather watch a pitchers duel. If I am watching a game I really do not care about I would rather see a blowout.Who do you think is the most underrated team and player in the MLB?
Pitcher's duel. Absolutely a pitcher's duel.A pitcher's duel has great defensive plays all game long. A pitcher's duel has nothing but strategy, and after all, baseball IS the thinking person's game. In a pitcher's duel, every pitch, every glance at a runner on base, can be the difference in the ball game. A pitcher's duel means tension and intent with every move of the game. Of course I'd rather see a K than a hit.
A blowout? Or a slug fest? You've got to be kidding. They're is as boring as h**l and twice as long. They have no strategy. The only people who want to see a slug fest or a blow are fantasy players, and by the very nature of fantasy baseball, it's not a game about baseball. Fantasy baseball can't be bothered even trying to include defense, and defense IS baseball.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, better than a 1-0 ballgame, with the pitchers having combined for 20 or more strikeouts. That's my idea of a ballgame.
Is Jake Peavy the next big thing?
i personally think pitchers duel can be boring...i like seeing the managers get upset at their pitchers when they give up 7 consecutive hits...i like seeing all the scrambles around the basepaths...Why are pitchers FAT and HAIRY, does it help their mechanics?
neither...not a blow out but a high scoring game from both teams .something that goes along the lines of 14-12 or somethign like that.all the offenssive fireworks and when a pitcher does retire the side in order it makes it more special ya know? .i also love the high scoring games because it helps with fantasy baseball cus i can track my players and see they are doing well!I am a pitcher and I just was wondering how u throw a gyro ball?
The 1-0 or 2-1 game is probably the most exciting game you rarely see anymore. I was at a Mets-Braves game in April last year where Tim Hudson outdueled Tom Glavine 2-0 where the two combined to give up two hits in seven innings and I was on the edge of my seat during the whole game.More Questions & Answers...
