Franchise Players?

Mike Morgan played for 12 teams.

Morgan (Pitcher; 1978-2002) played for the A's, Yankees, Blue Jays, Mariners, Orioles, Dodgers, Cubs, Cardinals, Reds, Twins, Rangers and Diamondbacks.

Deacon McGuire also played for 12 teams, but played in the late 1800's and some of the teams were not MLB teams, they were American Associated teams.

Next is Todd Zeile, he played for 11 major league teams during his career; Cardinals, Phillies, Cubs, Orioles, Mets, Marlins, Rangers, Dodgers, Yankees, Expos and Rockies.

Who do you think would buy the chicago cubs?

Two players wore 12 different big-league uniforms in their careers, and you're probably familiar with one of them - right-handed pitcher Mike Morgan. He made his debut in 1977, just after being a No. 1 pick of the Oakland A's, and played through 2001. His other stops: New York (Yankees), Toronto, Seattle, Baltimore, Los Angeles (Dodgers), Chicago (Cubs), St. Louis, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Texas and Arizona. And that doesn't even include three years spent entirely in the minors - 1980, 1981 and 1984.

The other was Deacon McGuire, a catcher whose career spanned from 1884 in the American Association (the forerunner of the American League) all the way through 1912. Incidentally, McGuire's 25 big-league seasons (he also spent three in the minors after making his big-league debut) are the most ever by a catcher.

What is the record for most consecutive wins in major league baseball?

answerer #2 is correct, however, at one time, Jim Slaton former pitcher, had been on more teams and had more teammates than anyone in one given season, at one time, he had been teammates with over 75 percent of the active major leaguers in I believe it was 1986, and he had been on minor league rosters etc, with all of them

Which MLB team produced 5 Rookies of the Year in a row in the 90's?

What #1 said, since the American Association wasnt MLB, and that is what was asked.

POINTS!

Ever since MLB has cracked down on steriods,Homeruns and RBI's are slow paced. What do U think?

we may be on the verge of a change here. As of today, Kenny Lofton has been on 11 MLB teams, including two stints with Cleveland - I have counted the Indians only once. He is 'only' 40 and still getting on base, stealing and making the plays with Texas. He has been on two teams twice in past 6 years, and a late season trade to a contender would make that 12 - unless he goes to Houston, Cleveland (for a THIRD time) Atlanta Chicago Sox OR Cubs, SF, Pittsburg, NYY, Phillie, LAD.he is still an exciting player who keeps in shape and could play for several more years.

Did you ever.?

Deacon McGuire Played for 12 different teams: Toledo(AA), Cleveland (AA), Rochester (AA), Washington (AA), Detroit (NL), Philadelphia (NL), Washington (NL), Brooklyn (NL), Detroit (AL), New York (AL), Boston (AL) and Cleveland (AL).

Mike Morgan Played for 12 Different Teams: Oakland (AL), New York (AL), Toronto (AL), Seattle (AL), Baltimore (AL), Los Angeles (NL), Chicago (NL), St. Louis (NL), Cincinatti (NL), Minnesota (AL), Texas (AL), and Arizona (NL).

Why do you hate the White Sox?

Given the question askes about "major league teams" and not Major League Baseball teams, Morgan and McGuire share the record, 12. The American Association, where McGuire played in 1884, 1888, and 1890-91, was considered a major league at the time. (The Washington Statesmen, where McGuire played in the 1891 AA, moved to the NL in 1892 and changed the name to Senators; BR.com counts this as one franchise for McGuire and not two, and so credits him with 11 different teams. Reader's choice, I suppose.)
