Do you like the monopoly fox has created in baseball coverage?
tendonites huh? throw a lot of breaking pitches. just give it time. with summer comming up take it off. 60 is okay, if you are worried about your size and wanting to pitch, maybe try the outfield. What does it mean when a pitcher is described as a "gas can"?
wow thats great. you need 2 go 2 a doctor to help you with that. What is a pinch runner and a pitch hitter?
tendonities is cured by stop throwing for a while. and I would think 60mph for a 15 year old is pretty goodFor your size its fine, you will have a growth spurt, be cautious though with your breaking pitches too, maybe try a different release point and maybe a simple 3Q windup for the time being to help get your shoulder stronger, when you grow up you could be an 85 MPH pitcher maybe a little higher but hey man thats league average, look at the LLWS and they can old clock about 62-63, the better ones get about 66-67, your fine, also speed isnt everything, its control, look at Greg Maddux hes the Active wins leader and his pitches MOOOVE, but dude can only crank about 86, speed isnt as important as command.
You're a little young to have tendinitis. The positive thing about that is you're so young, you will probably heal with the proper rest and treatment. I'd think about two things; you're young yet, and you can still grow. I stopped when I was 15; one guy I knew went from 6'1" at 15 to 6'11" when it was all done! You don't know how tall you will eventually be. As the previous poster said about pitching, its more about control, location, and being crafty than just about velocity. Let your body grow into itself, and take it from there. You may have more of a future in the middle infield(if you can hit 60 at your age and size, you probably have a live arm)then on the pitchers mound. Best of luck!
Is it rare if I throw left handed and bat left handed?
I would say Ibuprofen, ice it, arm exercises, don't throw breaking pitches yet because it might hurt your arm more and see your doctor if you are a little worried. Possibly working with weights can get your muscles stronger which will help in throwing faster, but definitely see your doctor so you don't hurt yourself more because if that does happen then this question will be meant as nothing. Trust me, you don't want to mess with tendinitis at a young age.Need help getting my fantasy baseball roster straight?
The only why that you can throw faster and keep away from the Dr.'s office is strech alot. I played baseball all my life and went injury free through high school and college. Also, make sure that you ice after everything you throw a game. Throw long toss but make sure that your not killing yourself everytime you do it. I have noticed that you will add some power to your fastball if you do this through out the season. As far as your height and stuff thats pretty good to throw a 60 mph fastball. If you grow at the end of high school and put on a little weight your should be in good shape. I am 5'7, 180 and throw in the high 80s.More Questions & Answers...
