Maybe he would not have hit a grand slam but maybe atleast an RBI single. All good players will eventually come thru in the clutch. I mean look at Payton Manning for instance. Are you excited that Opening Day is today?

Take the letter "M" and give me your alltime baseball team.?
Well, remember one thing. Before this, weren't we saying, "Could A-Rod have hit a home run with the game on the line?" He did that, couldn't he? With that hit, he already surpassed expectations. I was sitting here, and it was the bottom of the 9th, 2 out, with Jeter up, and after he got a ball, I said "Jeter walks, Abreu walks, and A-Rod comes up 2 out, down one run, in the bottom of the 9th." Then... it actually happend, and, waving my hands like George Costanza did when he was caught with his pants down after being in the pool, I shouted, "I WAS KIDDING! I WAS KIDDING!"And then, he hit it. He actually did it. Would he have ever done that the past few years? Would we ever expect him to do that? And yet, now that he's done that, we jump to the next extreme. He's doing very well this year, and, despite mistakes, has done at least one good thing per game. Perhaps the Alex Rodriguez of old is back. Perhaps he'll shut up all detractors this year. He's already shown us he can do it under pressure, saving the Yankees from a dangerous slide.
I've been looking all over the internet for pictures of Yankee Stadium in the 1974-75 renovation?

hell yes he alex rodriguez i know he can stop hating on a future hall of famerYa know what?? He could have. All you people that rip on him day in and day out piss me off. He's far from being over-valued. I'm not sure, but I believe it's the last 5 years that he's 2nd in RBI's only to Pujols. So how bout y'all shut up and stop hating on him?? He's an awesome athlete and an amazing baseball player. He's by far one of the greatest ever and will easily earn a spot in the hall of fame. When you guys are all hatin on him, he's still better than most other players in the league. So please do us all a favor and shut the hell up.
