you throw a ball fastWhat is Santa Clara University's baseball record for each of the past 5 years?
You put your index finger and your middle finger over the seams of the ball.just throw the baseball straight over the top, dont pronate your wrist and let it rip. If your elbow starts to hurt, learn from somebody in person
ok there are two types a 4 seam and a 2 seam the 2 seam consists of your index finger around the longer part of the seams and and the middle finger on the other part of the seams that is usualy for the faster pitch as to where the 4 seam you put your index on the farther apart of it and you put the middle finger opposite of it and is usualy the more controling type of fastball. i hope i helped
Best team of all-time of all time not to win the world series?
For a 4 seam fastball (also how all position players should hold the ball) slightly spread your fore and middle fingers then place them across the "horseshoe" of the seams. This will cause all 4 seams of the ball to hit the air when it leaves your hand, which in turn causes stability in the rotation making it go straighter and faster than a 2 seam. For a 2 seamer, use the same two fingers and place on either seam where the seams are closest to one another on the ball. Finger pressure on either seam when throwing causes the ball to move. Sinkers are thrown this way.
