Are the Brewers the best team in baseball?
Question:I've been a Brewers fan since I was a little kid and they have the best record and lots of talent. Does anyone else believe they will go to the World Series?
Answers:
They have probably the best overall pitching staff in the majors, with a solid five man rotation, and dual closers meaning they never give up runs in the eighth and ninth. Their outfield gets rotated through because they are all capable, meaning that if one gets injured, it won't affect them. Moreover, the rotating outfield reduces the risk of injuries.
I am going to go out on a limb and say they will keep winning and make the playoffs. World Series is wishful thinking, way to early to call that one.
Favorite baseball teams anyone?
never again! How can i set up a target in my yard to help with my pitching. Something that will stand up.?
thry are a lot better than last yearDo you think "save percentage" would be a more informative stat than just "saves" for a closer?
The Red Sox are the best team in the majors right now. And yes, the Brew-Crew most certainly can make it to the WS... please though, name ONE team that's better than the Red Sox. I CHALLENGE you. Their starting pitching is unstoppable. Their 5th starter, FIFTH, gave up two runs. And then they start all over again with Schilling, Beckett, and Dice-K. And Manny's not even really hitting yet!
Do you think Dice-K is another Hiedo Nomo / Chan Ho Park / Kaz Ishii?
no one is a more complete team than the bravesWhat was Mickey Mantles' number before he was number 7 ?
i dont know about the world series, but they better win thier division and make the playoffs, lets see how they are pitching in a couple of months,.....i like their lineup, but when it come down to the trade deadline, do you think they need a hard hitting thirda basemen?, it about the only unsure spot i see,
are the BREW CREW willing to make one of those playoff trades?
go brew crew the pride of '82
Are the Mets going to win the world series?
right now best team but in the future no, and no world series this year maybe in 2 years though, have high hopesNO!! I THINK THEY WON THEIR FIRST 14 GAMES IN A ROW LAST YEAR. WHERE DID THEY END UP? WATCH OUT FOR THE CUBS THIS YEAR. THEY ARE STARTING TO HEAT UP.
Are you talking about 2007??? Well they might have been good 20 years ago, but as of now they are ranked 27th team in the MLB. So most likely they wont make it to the playoffs. They dont have any young prospects or any good veterans. So thats why they are not doing good at all! They should not of traded Carlos Lee!
Does anyone like the detroit tigers? If so whos your tiger?
No.they are improved, but it is just May. They don't have the depth to last.I would say the Brew Crew are the real deal and should be favored to win the NL Central Division. I would have to compare them to last year's Detroit Tigers. Are they the best team in MLB? I think they still have a ways to go on that. Can they be competitive and get to the World Series? Yes, it is possible, especially if they add some talent before the trade deadline at the end of July. Glad to see the team on the rebound!
Do the marlins, tampa bay, pittsburg, kansa city, and milwauke deserve teams?
Its only two months in baseball dude, anything can happen. But I think its possible for them to go.What is the hardest position in baseball?
Definatly, and yes they do have alot of prospects. Manny Parra, Braun, Gallardo(probably one of top 2 minor league pitchers), did you think of Jeremy Jeffress? He dishes out triple digits and Zach Jack could come around. For now they have the most complete rotation in the majors, Suppan a 200 innings eater can be spectacular in day games and has a very good breaking ball, and can change speeds nicely. Capuano mixes deceptiveness with command and when on the ball has a very good change that can K 10. Sheets can be lights out when hes on his A game with a powerful hammer 12 to 6 curve and a mid 90s FB. Vargas low to mid 90s on his heater with a very sneaky cutter. Dave Bush should probably be sent to the minors to call up a prospect but we will let Melvin decide. As far as hitters are concerned, Brewers lead the NL with 35 homers and the younsters: Weeks can get on base, Fielder has a super power bat, and Hardy is the most consistant player in the Majors, Bill Hall can get on base and has great wheels. Corey Hart has pop and can swipe 25 bases, I mean where can you go wrong with this team up and down across side to side this is a finely built team and more complete than even the Red Cox, I mean Sox. :ODoes anyone know where i can find a video of the red sox 4-home run highlight?
I was here in '82 and there are a lot of simalarities beginning to appear. And when I think of all the players on each team Ihave come to the conclusion that this team we have today could be better. Does this mean a world series? Well if your a true Brewers supporter you gotta believe they can do it.
We have the best pitching, we have the best first baseman, we have the best shortstop, if Weeks starts hitting we'll have the best 2nd baseman, and if Genkins, Hart, Hall, Gwynn, Estrada, Miller, Grafanino, and the rest can hold up there end, not even the mighty Yankees with Rodger Clemons is going to stop us.
Cheer on and be proud to support Americas new Team
