If I may add a few things....as Yankee fans we should just sit back and let the season play out itself. We already know how it will turn out. Seems that the Mets and Red Sox fans are more concerned about the Yankees being in last place than we are. If only Mets and Red Sox fans would put that same energy into cheering for their team. The boys in pinstripes were in the same position 2 years ago, and if I remember correctly they won the division.Mets fans, Mutts fans, whatever...remember that you don't even have a team name....you're New Yorks "OTHER TEAM." Again, you will all talk out your @sses and your Muttsies will disappoint you again. So go ahead and kill yourselves.
Red Sox fans, oh Red Sox fans....You guys are competitive, yes. You have a good team, yes. Are you guys a championship team....I have to question that. You "HAD" a great season "3" years ago, so join us Yankee fans in watching our team trying to win another one. It is one thing to talk about winning, but can you talk about a winning tradition. Can you talk about having a dominant team, a dynasty...no because you only tasted that twice in about 100 years of existence.
Yes, in business and baseball it's what have you done for me lately....well after 2004 the Red Sox have not done a thing but lose "2" divisions to the Yankees. Yea sure, you guys got the better of some minor league pitching over the last two weekends, and you're impressed by that.
Once again, I will say it....remember that the Red Sox always seem to hand the division to the Yankees on a silver platter sometime late August (like last years 5 game sweep), early September. Sounds like they're bigger chokers than A-Rod (Red Sox fans Yankee bashee of choice).
So be prepared for history to repeat itself, and Yankee fans..hopefully we can celebrate the 27th title.

Typical Yankee fan here, doesn't look at the standings and puts others down to make themselves feel better...I'm not sure what your criteria for crappy fans is, but I think showing up to the park and cheering your team on like all three of the teams you mentioned have, makes them great fans. Crappy fans are like the ones in Florida who don't even bother to show up and when they do act so bored that you wouldn't even know they were there. If your criteria is hating the Yankees then it would be the Sox, come on the Mets aren't a true rival since you only play them a few times a year and aren't directly competing with them in the standings.
