Why do MLB games start at 1:05?
Question:Why do baseball games start at 1:05p, 2:05p, 4:05p, etc? Why not 1:00p, 2:00p, 4:00p, etc? Why do they need an extra 5 minutes? Doesn't this seem odd to anyone!

its due to TV. it gives the commentators 5 minutes to preview the game and discuss what is going on with the teams. plus for commercials and such.Which team do you think has the most fans? Which team do you think has the least fans?
