I found a heavy orange yellow ball the size of a baseball , very smooth. .?

Question:there is some writing on it. ----chingford longstreth MULTI_TURF-----NFHSo---- made in england . have never seen a ball like that. any ideas out there?

It's used for field hockey. The yellow one you have may be for men's. In England, and throughout Europe, men play field hockey, too. The multi turf infers that since some fields in Europe are grass, and others are artificial turf. But it was just likely sold as a regular field hockey ball.
