Should Major League Baseball bring in the salary cap to dismantle the dynasty that is being built?
Question:in Kansas City? I mean seriously how is anyone else going to win a championship in the next 10 years with the amount of talent they have down there? Its ridiculous and baseball needs to do something about it if they want to keep the sport competitive.

Trade Question for White Sox fans?
Good question. I would love to see baseball implement the salary cap. And, just in case you're wondering, since you think the Royals are so good, you're probably reading their record from right to left.Well don't worry KC won't be able to KEEP/RE-SIGN BUT 1 MAYBE 2 OF THESE PLAYERS BC THERE ISN'T A SALARY CAP.
Baseball announcers, opinion question?
I believe a cap is needed. As a Pirate fan I know that they will never compete with the Yanks, Red Sox etc.. with there payroll. There needs to be a cap, or Mark Cuban needs to buy the Pirates! What pitcher won 3 consecutive triple crowns?
Most definitely, I've been wanting it for years now. It's time to even the playing field have some parity in the league. The Yanks spend way too much just to get the best players, just because they have George as owner and the YES network. As long as they keep spending only to fail in the playoffs, it puts a smile in my face to see A-Rod never win a championship and runned out of NY.I agree, the Royals are completely overpowered and win too much. That guy on the Royals is going to break the all time home run record.. and he is only 25! They have 500 million dollars to throw around each year, and it is getting ridicilous. Can my Indians ever win the Central? No its ROYALS ROYALS ROYALS. It is sad.
What cities do you think Major League Baseball should move into?
no but they can win if they keep a good minor league. but a salary cap would go to far, first of all the sport is compatitive and why penalized teams for making their teams have value, second royal fans don't even support their team, last of all the sport has never been healthier with the yankees leading the way, mlb is making record amount of revenue, people are watching and going to the game. people keep saying the sport is dying but the numbers show that its the second most profiatable american sport next to the nfl, and more and more people are going to the game regardless what team it is.it is also the second most played sport in the world, so has you can see not having a salary cap is not hurting them.To claim that you cannot compete b/c of the payroll is a cop out and proves ignorance. Go look up the Marlins payroll when they won the WS in 2003, please do it. It was 1/8th of what the Yankees was. Yeah a high payroll can give some kind of an advantage but the minor leagues are there for a reason. If you draft well and have great scouts as well as some great management you can win easily. The Marlins have done it twice (97 i believe and 03) w/ hardly any kind of payroll, and after they won the WS all their "stars" bounced and it has not hurt them at all. They dont make retarded deals (such as the Cubs, Yanks, and Red Sox and other big spenders) and keep their young upcomers and make sure their minor league coaches develop these kids and get the most potential out of them, guys like Hanley Ramirez, Dan Uggla, and Miguel Cabrera. You dont have to have "stars" to win it all and you dont have to spend MILLIONS to win it all, you just have to have a great organization that knows what its doing, thats the problem with the Royals and Pirates, their organization is full of morons and their minor league systems are full of....nothing. For example, Alex Rodriguez himself made more than the entire Marlins roster last season, but yet the Marlins have 1 more championship than the Yanks this millenium. HMMMM??
