All White Sox team for the past 25 years?
Question:I tried to come up with the best White Sox players of the past 25 years. What do you think of this lineup?
Bartolo Colon - SP
David Riske - RP
Julio Franco - DH
Sandy Alomar, Jr. - C
Jim Thome - 1B
Roberto Alomar - 2B
Jerry Dybzinski - SS
Herbert Perry - 3B
Albert Belle - LF
Kenny Lofton - CF
Dave Gallagher - RF
I thought about putting Sammy Sosa in RF because Sox fans love him so much, but he just didn't fit.

Who's worse DiamondBacks or Rockies?
What a sick joke. The real team would be:
SP - Jose Contreras
RP - Bobby Jenks
DH - Carl Everett
1B - Paul Konerko
2B - Tadahito Iguchi
SS -Juan Uribe
3B - Joe Crede
LF- Scott Podsednik
CF - Aaron Rowand
RF - Jermaine Dye
C - A.J. Pierzynski
Wait - this is the 2005 lineup. If it won the World Series, than there is no doubt it is the best combo for the last 25 years.
C. FISK
1B THOMAS
2B DURHAM
3B VENTURA
SS GUILLEN
LF RAINES
CF JOHNSON
RF ORDONEZ
DH KITTLE
SP. GARCIA
FERNANDEZ
MCDOWELL
BUEHRLE
BALDWIN
CLOSER THIGPEN
This is a joke right?
Have can you have a White Sox team without Frank Thomas. Robin Ventura was much better at 3rd. Herbert Perry only played parts of 2 seasons. And how can you leave off Carlton Fisk at catcher? And where is Bobby Thigpen at Closer. He set the MLB single season saves receord at 57. And I'd take Magglio's five year run over Gallagher any day (he also played less than 2 seasons worth of games). So you want a guy that hit .266 with 1 HR and 46 RBI in 601 AB's. Wow, remind me never to hire you as GM. I'd also take Harold Baines over Franco anyday (seems that you like the guys that play less than 2 season with the White Sox).
Haha. This brings back bad memories.
