Farm systems are for both stocking your own team and acquiring other players by trade. The strength of a farm system, over time (and you're asking aobut over tyme) isn't how many players on a given team came up through that team's farm system, but how overal players in MLB came up through that team's farm system.
As asked, your question isn't relevant.
Why do baseball managers wear numbers and uniforms, is there a chance they will play in the game ??
AstrosSP Oswalt, Sampson, Backe IR, Albers
RP Qualls, Wheeler, Lidge
Position; Ensberg, Pence,Biggio, Berkman, Everett, maybe Ausmus
Not all of these guys were drafted by Houston, such as Adam Everett who was traded from the Boston farm system, but all of them played in the Astros farm system and made their way to the majors in the Houston organization. So counting pitchers and bench players around 15 out of the 25 man roster
