Trade help?
Question:This guy is trying to get Jimmy Rollins from me, becuase he is in DESPERATE need of a shortstop. Im hoping the fact that he needs one so badly will increse rollins' value for me. Not to mention Rollins is off to a great start. I want to ask for Lance Berkman and Roy Oswalt for Jimmy Rollins and one of the following pitchers, either, Nate Robertson, Adam Wainwright, Jamie Moyer or Ted Lilly (all of which hav at least 1 win and the highest ERA is just over 3). Am i crazy for asking this? Should i try it just to see if the guy bites? Or am i better off stayin the way i am. I hav another SS in Bill Hall, and my outfielders are Carl Crawford, Matt Holliday, and Curtis Granderson, and pretty soon Bill Hall and Mark Teahen when they get eligible. I hav all of the starting pitchers i mentioned plus John Lackey and Chris Young. Am i being reasonable considering the guy is desperate?

There is no way on earth anyone would ever give up Oswalt and Berkman for Rollins and one of your above average pitchers. If the other guy accepts your trade, he is an enormous sap and I would love to sell him my '94 Camry b/c I can probably get 15 grand from this guy. There is however to harm in proposing the trade. How can a pitcher who throws 3/4 arm angle throw a nasty curveball?
try any of those guys, I'd go with Wainwright. If he's that desperate, he'll accept it. good luck.Who designed the yankees logo?
Let's start off by saying that Roy Oswalt is a very valuable starter in the MLB and if the guy is as desperate as you say he is, then you should make the trade, because Roy Oswalt beats the value of Jimmy Rollins by a milestone. How much of a differnce does it make between pitching on a mound and throwing on flat ground?
i would say you should trade rollins and wainwright for berkman and oswalt. that would sound like a fair trade.IS PRINCE FIELDER taking the milwaukkee brewers to the playoffs?
I wouldn't make that trade if I was him, you get two great players for one good player and an above average pitcher. If he takes it good for you, but don't be too hopeful that he will. I can't really answer this fully without knowing the makeup of his team too, but from what you said he'd be a fool to deal those two guys for Rollins and any of the pitchers you would offer.Should any of these players be voted into the hall of fame?
I would go for the trade with Jamie Moyer thrown in there. If he doesnt bite on that one, your best bet would be to go for Berkman. Maybe get him to throw another pitcher in with that Berkman deal.
