How do pitching rotations work?

Question:are pitchers rotated by day-of-the-week or the next-game-day?

Answers:

Mike Piazza 420 homeruns ?

They are rotated by the game for the most part. The goal is to get the most starts out of your best pithers without overworking them too much. The ideal is to have 4 days between starts for any pictcher but that can be shortened or lengthened a little bit depending on the teams scedule or the importance of a particular game...ie the ace starting on three days rest in the playoffs etc..

If you found out today that Barry Bonds was clean. Would your opinion of his effect on the game change?

generally by next-game-day.

Whats the difference between the stealth and the connexion?

theres 5 pitchers and they pitch every 5th game. it doesnt matter if theres an off day, who's ever turn it is, pitches the next game.
