How many times are people going to ask this question? All Chicago did was blow a bunch of money in the off-season on nobody important other than Soriano. This question is asked too frequently on sports1234.com . No the cubs wont win the world series. No the Cubs wont make the playoffs. No the Cubs wont win it all next year. No the cubs wont win it the year after that. They'll make the playoffs next year, but they wont win it all for a while. They're not a bad team, there are just better teams out there. If your a true Cubs fan, you should know they went 66-96 last year for the third worst record in baseball. Soriano and Ted Lilly(40 Million Dollar Bust) wont change that to a World Series.
