BAA - Batting average against (batters batting average allowed by a pitcher)
I need your help, i have a signed baseball w/ last name Mc.?
Whip is walks+hits/inning.A good WHIP for a pitcher is around 1.00. Anything below 1.00 is outstanding and demonstrates the domination of a pitcher. A poor WHIP is anything over 1.75. That means for each innings pitched there is a good chance two or more runners will reach base. If at least two base runners are reaching every innings one would believe that sooner or later a bases clearing shot will be delivered by the offense. That will raise a pitchers' E.R.A. and WHIP.
BB is base on balls (walk)
BAA is Batting Average Against
WHIP=walks and hits per inning pitched
BB=bases on balls (i.e. "walks")
BAA=batting average against
When do you think Bonds will break the HR record?
WHIP is Walks and Hits per Inning Pitched. It shows how many runners the pitcher is allowing on base per inning.BB is Bases on Balls or Walks. It shows how many batters the pitcher walked.
BAA is Batting Average Against. It shows the cumulative batting average of all of the hitters against the pitcher. EX: Jeter is 1-3, A-Rod is 2-3, Giambi is 0-3 the BAA would be 3-9 or .333
