Aren't the Marlins Amazing?

Don't worry about the hitting, your job is to pitch.

How is the winning pitcher decided?

if you're that good of a pitcher, then there's no problem. if your team is struggling to win, it's the other players' faults. if a team can't score 2 runs in a game, they deserve to lose.

Why do Americans love baseball so much?

Use a lighter bat. The problem with younger players and baseball is that they try to crush the ball. You dont have to crush the ball. A blooper or agrounder up the middle are the same as a screaming line drive that one hops into the center fielders glove. Your gunna end up on first either way. Try adjusting your stance to minimize the movement you have, bend your knees a little, and dont try to crush the ball. Your in high school and have a lot of time to improve. Pitching stats look good otherwise.

Chicago cubs.how good will they be this year??

Don't be too concerned. Even at the major league level, most pitchers are lousy hitters. They focus on their pitching, and let their teammates hit and score runs in support of them. So perhaps you could just do the same -- keep working on your pitching and be the best pitcher you can be. That is how you can most help your team.

Who was the first Cleveland Indian to bat .400 in a season?

batting practice and don't give up.try getting a DVD of Cal Ripken Jr.'s way of hitting in baseball. Its better then nothing and if your really desperate to get hits then you would try it.what have you got to lose.couldn't you ask one of your friends on your team I'm sure they will help they don't want to see anybody on their team to strikeout or hit a weak grounder to the pitcher.or ask the hitting coach you should have one.
Do research on google to see what you can do to relax at the plate like maybe yoga or try different batting stance.maybe you should keep wiggling your fingers while holding the bat like Coco Crisp so that way you are alert and ready for the ball.

Why did Pujols try to steal home and then stop last night?

I am assuming you are relatively young, so my advice is to not let it get to you. It sounds like you are doing a good job at pitching, and while you may not realize it, by not letting the other team score, you're doing much more to help the team than a base hit here or there will.

As far as improving, batting cages can be a good place to work on your hitting. Make sure to practice a level, smooth swing because later on, hitting line drives is what a coach will want.

Soft toss can be valuable, expecially with golf balls and a "thunder stick" (a stick like bat), but I would start off with just baseball's and a normal bat. Get someone next to you on their knees and toss balls up over the plate and you hit them into a fence.

Like many people said before if you stick with pitching long enough (into college), depending on the college you go to, you'll just be a pitcher and they won't let you hit.

What kind of wood bat should i buy that is not to expensive?

If you are that good then you dont need to hit well. In college some pitchers dont hit so who cares. Just focus on pitching.

Wondering how to find Bud Selig's or Mike Ilitch's Email (commisioner of baseball, and the owner of the Tigers

If you got a garage or back yard, start just swinging the bat a couple hundred cuts a day.Tie a wiffle ball or tennis ball to a batting tee and just swing the bat.Level out the swing and practice your eye hand cordination.Never take your eye off the ball.Take shallow short breathes up at the plate during the game. You got to relax and just make contact. Its already in your head that your gonna fail.Let that feeling go and just relax. You can do it man, your already a good pitcher, why not round out your game with some timely hits?Good luck and swing away!

Pitching questiong, when a pitcher is driving his arm does he keep it as loose as possible or does he flex?

as a pitcher your not expected to always hit good thats why you see pitchers in the pros bunting. but what you need to do is keep your eye on the ball and concentrate. when your not spending your free time practicing pitches practice hitting with teamates and get some advice from them if you really want to do better. i hope my advice has helped

Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig baseball card?

Are you a fast runner, if so try some drag bunts, it can't hurt if you really do strike out that often. Also be patient, try to draw walks, get hbp. But if your that good of a pitcher you really have no reason to worry about your hitting.

Does having a high payroll really help teams win?

A couple suggestions:
1. I'm assuming you are taking batting practice, if not you should. Anyway, when you do, bunt the first half dozen pitches. This will help get the timing down a little.
2. Find an old bat, wooden or aluminum, go out in the country or an empty lot, somewhere where there is nothing to damage, and hit rocks. Around quarter sized works the best. Do it often and your hand(bat)-eye co-ordination will improve. Practice Practice Practice

Do you think Hunter Pence from the Houston Astros will be rockie of the year?

First of all, hit the cages!! Also remember that as long as you can get people out, your batting average won't matter so much. What ever you do, do not let your batting bother you to the point that your pitching starts slipping. I also would ask your coach for some extra help. He will gain a lot of respect for you if you tell him you also want to help the team by improving your batting average.

This takes time, i used to be horrible and now I'm a 100 times better. Don't let it get to you. don't forget about pitching either, with those numbers it looks like your going to be great. Good luck.
