Who in baseball do you think takes steroids?

Question:Mlb Steriod Scandal

Answers:

How far do you think the cleveland indians go this year?

Presently, very few. None are dumb enough to test MLB right now.
In the Past:
Bonds (hat went from a 8 to a 15, weight went from 175 to around 250 and pimples on a 43 year old man, enough evidence)
Giambi (Proven)
Sheffiled (with BALCO scandal involving Bonds and Giambi)
Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa (just look at those muscles, they aren't natural, and right now I don't beivle that Sammy is still juiceing
Ken Caminiti ( he admidted)
Jason Grimsly HGH (big story over winter bout him snd HGH)
proably MANY, MANY more.

Who is better the Yankees or the Rockies?

BARRY BONDS!!! which is really making me mad because hes breaking records with them and hes gotten caught a milllion times he should have been suspended indefintely by now.

Would you like your team to be on a channel similar to the yankees yes network?

Barry Bonds and I know that Mark McGuire when he played had to also. They both got big overnight.

MLB question. Did a team ever win the world series and then come in last the following year?

Don't always look in the obvious places! like guy's who increased in muscle mass and overall size. I like to give them the benefit of the doubt until I'm sure (innocent until proven guilty) but I suspect Barry Bonds, Sammy Sosa, Luis Gonzalez, Jason Giambi, Albert Pujols, Gary Mathews Jr, Mark Prior. But there is a bunch of guy's who you would not suspect because steroids are also used to aid in speed and endurance. Guy's like Corey Patterson, Kenny Lofton, Andruw Jones and Juan Pierre I suspect as well.

If you could change only one thing about your favorite team.what would it be?

BARRY BONDS!!!!!

Baseball Site?

I would suspect many batters AND PITCHERS in the 80s & 90s took them. Not many anymore, though, but I'm sure it's there. Add Brady Anderson to the list, too - didn't he have about 50 HRs one year and then dropped off the planet?

Interesting to me how Bonds is still cracking the ball amid all these allegations and scrutiny. He has been such a consistently great hitter that I still think he would have approached 700 HRs, even if he was 100% clean. To me, hitting the ball with a sweet stroke and great hand-eye coordination is the key to the long ball; steroids might add an extra few feet to the end result.

What are the best ways of obtaining autographs at a Red Sox game?

that bat boy is gonna blow this entire thing wide open. he is gonna sing like a canary when he goes on trial.

Isnt this so funny?

Used to be Billy Koch - and it looks more like Mark Prior everyday with every injury.

Baseball scenario question?

Until the MLB tests for HGH, which requires blood testing, I expect the number is fairly high. But mainly among pitchers. Pitchers benefit the most from steroids, especially relievers, because of the increase in recovery time. The biggest mistke you make when looking for users is to just look for the guyu with the biggest muscles because as we've seen so far the guys that test positive the most are pitchers and guys you've never heard of.

However, I'm not being naive and saying no sluggers have juiced because obviously Bonds, McGwire, Sosa, Palmeiro and Sosa did. But i think the biggest reason for the Homerun explosion is expansion.

In addition, expansion has dilluted the talent pool pitcher wise. There are so many pitchers that without the recent additions of teams would have no business being in the big leagues. As a result HR totals have gone up. And when you combine just that fact with Steroids the numbers skyrocket.

I'm sure certain players have been juicing since the 70s. And I don't have the numbers but I think that since the expansion of Florida, Colorado, Arizona and Tampa HR totals have skyrocketed. Yes steroids had something to do with it but I beleive the lack of strong pitching has had more to do with it.

It kinda makes you wonder why Selig was trying so hard for contraction. Maybe he wanted to decrease the HR totals before the steroid scandal became what it is today.

Edit: The pool of diluted position players is also diluted. However there are many more quality position players than there are pitching prospects due to the frequency of injury of average career length.

But the main point is the top players get more AB's against weaker pitchers. And I did not say that expansion is the only reason for the HR explosion. It's a key part. Adding performance enhancing supplements to the equation also skyrockets the number of HRs.

But if you think that a diluted pitching pool(which is much a harder to replace than position players) has nothing to do with the number of HRs, then you're kidding yourself.

So is the SOX game canceled today or what?

Steroids? I'm sure some do, but I think more of them use other means to juice, means that aren't tested for.

Bonds
Bonds
Bonds
Clemens
Gagne
Sosa
Pujols (strong link with his personal trainer to a juicing scandal, or so I read in either SI or TSN)
ARod (not b/c I dislike him, but b/c I legitimately think he probably is based on his build)
Sheffield
Giambi
Luis Gonzalez
Ivan Rodriguez
Moises Alou
Julio Franco
Abreu
Mike Sweeney (now that he is in SF)
Kenny Rogers
Jason Schmidt
Eric Milton

Probably also Thome, the Big Hurt, Piazza, and Chipper Jones (wasn't he the one who said he can't see how anyone can play w/out green meanies?).

The few players I think aren't suspect are basically the Pirates and other teams similar (they are almost all normal sized people, or big but fat, and don't make enough to produce enough to be considered juicers for the most part), Tim Wakefield (although it would almost be comical if he did), and Griffey.

Oh, and I don't totally buy the expansion excuse for HR increase someone mentioned. People always talk about pitching dilution, but the pool of talented position players is just as diluted then.

Gary Sheffield
