1) Offense: Berkman and Lee are starting to escape their early slumps. Burke isn't hitting too well. Craig Biggio is average. Jason Lane, Morgan Ensberg, Brad Ausmus, etc. are poor hitters so far.2) Relievers: We've blown 2-3 games just because of Dan Wheeler, Brad Lidge, etc. Jason Jennings struggled in the second game, and Roy Oswalt has been the only consistent pitcher so far.
I sadly don't see us going far this season... I can only look forward to Biggio getting his 3,000 hits.

Their pitching isn't keeping them in the game, and their offense is fairly weak, lance berkman and carlos lee cannot carry the team. Craig Biggio isn't that bad either, they only have good players at a few positions and are not strong enough to beat other more strong and more solid teams.

Well, the simple answer is they can't score any runs. Just like the last couple years. They got some guys in that line up that can flat out hit, but they never seem to ever be able to put it all together in the same inning. The fact that they blew saves the first 2 games og the year don't help that 1-5 record either.More Questions & Answers...
