Braves. 14 straight division titles with nothing to show for awhile. Tampa Bay Devil Rays, you see the talent on that team? Imagine if they had the yankee's budget? There are a lot of good teams out there. A team that would not go anywhere soon or in the next 10 years is the Kansas City Royals. I really like the Milwakee Brewers right now, but then again I always root for the underdogs.Would the Mariners have won the world series?

Oakland A's were the first team to come to mind. Looking back, they should have had themselves a dynasty in the late 80's. They could have had 3 in a row in '88, '89, '90, but came out with just the one to show for it. Similar story with the Braves. Hard to believe they have only one world championship to go with all those division and league championships. That's gotta hurt.Will Papelbon get to face A-Rod?
Right at this present time I will say the Milwaukee Brewers. But the team of the future is the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The Rays have a great young team but its just hard for them to get wins. But overall I would say the Atlanta Braves or the Los Angeles Dodgers.Well, consistently good rules out teams like the Brewers, plus they might.
In the past few years, and possibly for another one or two, I would go the Yankees. They will be there or there abouts the next few years, but won't win.
The Braves around probably be one, I would add the Mets unless their starting pitching jumps and the Indians are on the same boat.
Teams like the Red Sox, Dodgers, Padres, Tigers, Twins, Marlins - I can see if they get on a run, winning the WS easy over the coming years.

but they never can get to the NLCS. They might have a shot right now of getting to the world series but once Andruw Jones leaves they will be back to losing in the nlds every year.

The Texas Rangers.Yes, we laugh at them to, but they are consistantly fighting at or around .500. Compete until the final week-month of the season, but never seem to get over the hump.
They are too good to be the conistant worse team, but too bad to never actually get into the playoffs.
