No, he didnt. Just spring Training and minor leagues. Every baseball history site (almanac, cube) dont have him listed, which means he never played a game in the majors. What baseball team or teams do you love to hate and why?
No. Jordan played minor league ball in 1994 for the Scotsdale Scorpions and the Birmingham Barons, a minor league team for the White Sox. Interestingly enough, the Sox and the Bulls were owned by the same person, Jerry Reinsdorf, and Jordan retained his MBA contract during this time. Jordan was the best in the world at basketball and wasn't bad at baseball. Of course, we all know what it means when we say something isn't bad. We're saying that it isn't good either. It's just OK. In my opnion, Jordan's failed attempt at a baseball career was part hubris as he thought of himself as greater than great, and part guilt and desire for paternal acceptance in that he was fullfilling the dream of his late father. He came to his senses when he was knocked down off of Mount Olympus and returned to the Bulls, where he belonged, to eventually lead them to a 2nd 3-peat.More Questions & Answers...
