Their talent is still good, but they are getting old. Their pitching is struggling with injuries and inconsistency. As long as Jeter keeps crying about this, that and the other, they will always struggle as a team. Granted all these players are good and would be just as good on any other team. They do not play well as a team. Their talent alone can get them to the playoffs, but as we have seen in the recent past, once you get there its the best team that actually plays like a team that wins.
