owning even a part in a baseball team is hard you cant just so out and buy part of a team like it were stock you have to struck a deal with the owner and buy them out and if the team is owned but a group of people then you have to get the OK for all of the people you have to put part of your money to pay .for salary's and maintenance etc. and it is very well know that sports teams owners always loose money until the day they sell the team Yankees lost 90 million last year even the twins and padres last 10 million it is only a good thing to go into if you have alot of extra money lying around
