Question:I think Barry Bonds should be in the hall of fame when he retires. People say he took steroids but remember he NEVER got postivie on a sterioid test. He may have taken human growth hormone but it's not like if you take human growth hormone your gonna hit homeruns every time. You still have swing at the right time. Wait on the right pitch. Still have to build up the arm muscles to hit deep ones. It's not like if you give Human growth hormone to anyone they will start to hit homeruns like crazy. You still have to work hard. There even isn't any evidence that he took human growth hormones. He didn't take steroids cause he never got positive on a test!

i somewhat agree. bonds never admitted that he took steriods. he strogly stated that he might have or might not have. who actually knows? but he is one of the greats of the games. damn just look at the power he puts into that ball. with this whole thing of steriods bull *. they look at you when you were a rookie and say something like man hes skinny then when your a veteran and your muscles are bulging out of your chest. they are goin to assume steriods but its idiotic b/c peoples bodies grow differently by working out. this whole mlb commision is screwing up everybody in the leagues. i think this whole ordeal is totally f*cked up.What is the most amount of homeruns somebody hit in april?
They don't test for HGH, but he ADMITTED to the grand jury he took them, but thought they were the flax see oils. We now know they are the "creme and clear".You would have to be pretty naive to not know that he took stuff. Look at the size of his head from today compared to his days in Pittsburgh. If you don't see it, than you are choosing to not see it.

Taking what Bonds did before the whole steroids issue he was a HOF player. What has happened since should not change anything. I am not a Bonds fan, never have been because he is a selfish self centered person. But his accomplishments with or without steroids are hall worthy...What does everyone think of Tim Lincecum?
Somewat agree. He at least took human growth hormones, no man as skinny as he was could get that big that quickly. But he was hitting home runs before he alegdly took steroids. Hes the only player to get 400 home runs and 400 steals. He wasnt on the roids when he was makn those 400 steals i can tell u that. Also, when everyone says he was cheating.it looks like that to us, but technically there was no rules or laws againbst it. He wasnt breaking rules or "cheating". It wasnt right, and he didnt need to take anything because he was hitting 30 home runs a season before his aleged start of taking steroids. Its to bad what he did. Maybe he felt pressured with Sammy and Mark taking them. I dont know if he should get into the Hall or not, not my decision. But they should consider it. I also dont understand why everyone, all the fans and media, take there hate and anger on Bonds. He wasnt the only one who took them!! Hes just the one who was better than the other guys who took steroids and is closing in on the biggest recrord of all. Shame. Also a shame that Aaron wont be there. I understand why he wouldnt, thinks it will be broken unfairly. But you should be there no matter how much you dont like the guy about to break your record. Ok just because he never got cuaght does not mean he did it. I mean lots of people speed while driving and they don't get speeding tickets. I mean he could have taken steriods and not have gotten cought. Well i do agree with you in a way. I dont think that if Mark Mcgwire misses the hall of fame that bonds shuold get in either. Mcgwire might have taken steroids but remember, there was no rule preventing it then. Even if bonds didnt take steroids he is still always going to be thought of as 'the bad guy' and even if he is in the hall of fame its going to be the same.

Although before steroids he was sick, he did cheat, and cheating is illegal. and the Home run record is one of the best records and he took steroids which will taint the record forever.
