Can the milwaukee brewers win the central this year? st. louis is down!?

Question:and just where will roger "INGRATE" CLEMENS WIND UP? this man is a spoiled rotten punk! why does major league baseball give him?? sush latitude to decide when HE!! WANTS TO PITCH? THERE SHOULD BE LAWS AGAINST SUCH BEHAVIOR IN SPORTS! his contract is a waste of millions of dollars and anyone paying him is a fool!

I'm going to the Mariners Yankees game on Friday night to see King Felix pitch!?

Brewers WILL win the the central this year. If Clemens pitches, it will be for the Asstros because he lives in Houston, and they give him all kinds of freedom. I.E. not having to travel with the team if he's not scheduled to pitch. Think he'll get that kind of special treatment in Boston or New York? Doubt It.

Why do baseball stadiums besides a few, always look half empty during the regular season?

wow...

How's my team?

Brewers will not win any thing in about a month they wont even be on the wild card the astros are going to win the central this year and the cardinals the wild card.

Need some help increasing my accuracy?

the brewers can win that division, but probably won't...there are a lot of games yet to be played and i think the cardinals will bounce back and be right in the race at the very least

as for clemens, teams want to pay him because he is that good...he can change a team's pitching staff instantly and would bring an instant contender status for a team like the astros, or could help bring a championship to a team like the yankees or red sox

Which Canadian pitcher made his major-league debut in 1941 at the age of 33?

No if i recall they always start the season off good, and we always say look out for the brewers this year. But this year there having a very good season, i think theyll fall apart soon. Theyd have a better chance of they still had Carlos Lee.

What is your opinion on the Reds' Derrik Lutz?

I think the Brew-crew have a legit chance at winning the central. There pitching is potentially outstanding. The can be equally impressive at times. With vets like Suppan, Capauno, and a healthy Sheets with Cordero closing 'em out... it's tough to score 4+ runs against them. Feilder, Hall, Weeks, Hardy and Jenkins are very formidable. Can Sheets stay healthy. This will probably be the key to a division chase.

I agree with you somewhat on the Clemens point of view. I think it sucks that he'll play for the highest bidder when he feels he's available. On the flip side, I have a very similar view on the whole steroid issue... nonetheless, the baseball ruling body (whatever that is), and the owners allow it to happen because they profit from it. It generates press, interest from the fans, and most importantly money for them. From ticket sales, to all the MLB marketing and promos. I think they should use the millions to feed and shelter the homeless and hungry rather than Roger. No disrespect to the Rocket!

Baseball??

Astro fan here. The way the Brew Crew is playing, I like them to win the division, but they are Milwaukee. They are like the Cardinals in the NFL, they look good and always find a way to blow it. I will like them to break that trend.

Clements will pitch for NY or Houston. Red Sox don't need him. Both team suck and need pitching, at least the Yankees are scoring. The Atros can hit the broadside of a barn right now, but I still have faith in them. I do remember the year they went to the World Series they started really bad. Here is to hoping.
Go 'Stros!!

You Yankee fans ready to lose another three?

While it's true the Brewers are usually hot early and fall apart post all star break, they've got quite a bit going for them this year. Their pitching is arguably top 5 in the majors. Their bats have been very hot. They're a little more seasoned than last year, but are still a young team.

I doubt the rest of the division will remain below 500 for long, but with the Brewers already 9 games over that mark, they'll be in the lead for a while.

The most impressive fact is that they've won almost every series this year. This once again pays homage to the depth of the pitching staff rotation.

I think this is the first of several years where the Brewers are the team to beat in the NL Central.

Yankees or Cleveland?

Honestly, if the pitching remains healthy, and the bats keep hitting, the Brew Crew has a serious chance. This is the first time that I have seen the brewers this high in the standings. as of now they are 9 games over .500, and have received much help from the pitchers and hitters at the same time. Most games that I have watched over the years it is either one or the other, or neither, depending on the season (and it has been mostly neither). Will St Louis stay at the bottom? No. That is like saying that the Yankees will stay at the bottom (even though I would love to see that). The Cubbies either. I think that the NL Central will be the greatest battle in the MLB. But if the Brewers can continue what they are doing now, there is no way anyone in the central that can stop them.

Where Clemens will end up, probably the Yankees. They really need pitchers right now, and they always have full wallets. I can't see many other teams wanting him, maybe Houston. Wherever he ends up, it will be a huge story, and if it is the Yankees, watch Torre hold him to pitch until he has to face the Red Sox and D-Mat.

Watching baseball in the UK?

Milwaukee has a very good chance. The NL Central is by far the weakest division in baseball this year, and the only real competition the Brewers have will be the Astros, once they get it going in the second half like they always do. The Brewers are a good team (and compared to the rest of the NL Central competition, a great team), though I think making the playoffs is the best they can hope for. Sheets is injured, Capuano is injured, the rest of their rotation is mediocre, their getting a lot of offense from a guy (Hardy) who is just hot right now and will settle down.

As for Clemens, the reason why he's allowed to keep coming back whenever he wants is becuase teams will take him. He's still a very good pitcher. I dont much approve of the way he handles the baseball season. After all, the Astros might have made the postseason last year if he didnt wait til near June to join the team. But like I said, he's better than most other pitchers out there, and is probably worth the money, especially considering the massive contract that failures like Jeff Weaver (8 million dollars for 0-4, 18.26 era and 11.1 innings pitched in four starts). Watch Clemens pitch or just look at his numbers over the last couple seasons. Hiring him isnt foolish.

Who is a bigger A-Hole?

That division is very weak overall so an up and coming team like the Brewers could win. It depends on how far along their starting rotation has come and if Sheets can stay healthy.

How many types of pitches does the average MLB pitcher throw?

It is early, but I do think the Brewers will be a legitimate playoff contender this season. They have had plenty of talent these past couple years, but they were awfully young. This may be the year they put it all together.

As for the Cardinals, let us not forget that they were a barely over-.500 team that simply got hot at the right time to take the WS. They are not as good as advertised.

Who was Pumpsie Green?

Yes The Brewer to win the Central and Roger need to retire
