Extremely overrated! A total waste of money. Once the opposition sees him for the second time, he's history. Hell, he couldn't even get through some teams once! As usual the Red Sox shoot themselves in the foot just to keep the Yankees from getting the upper hand.He's a good pitcher, who will only get better. For someone pitching in a foreign country, I think he's doing well (there are a lot of things he has to adjust to...the language, being away from his family)..it's hard but he's pitching well.
Remember Jose Conteras, it took him a while before he adjusted, but Dice-K seem to be doing a good job.
(Yankee fan) I personally respect him, he has good pop on his fastball and a devastating change-up but could work on control. Once he starts throwing good strikes he could easily have a sub-3.50 ERA.
Both Bonser and Ortiz had good first outings. Will Silva and Ponson follow suit?
Once he gets better run support and settles down he will be even a better pitcher than he is now. He usually has one bad inning that sometimes costs him the game. If he can stop that, he will be a great player for the next ten years.he is doing bad now because Julio Lugo cannot field

He is a vastly overrated pitcher. I don't agree with this "he will get better when he learns the league" stuff. The guy was supposed to come in and dominate right away. After he beat Kansas City in the second game of the year, you would have thought Dice-K was the second coming of Cy Young and Roger Clemens combined. He is average. Yes, he beat the Yankees twice, but only because their pitching was horrible. He allowed 10 runs in 13 innings over two starts. He really looked nervous and scared during those two starts too. Tonight he can't get the ball over the plate against an average Seattle team.Yeah, he has a great arm, but lots of guys have great arms, but don't make it. I think he may be a solid pitcher in the long run, but he's the third best pitcher on that team right now. Overrated by a LOT!

He's a great pitcher. If he were on the Blue Jays he would strike out every batter and probably will let about a run come home. Daisuke is an amazing pitcher and he deserves the award for the leagues best pitcher. besides Roy Halladay of course.Is lifting weihts during the season a good idea or not?

I think Dice-K will end up like Dice Clay. His career will begin with a flourish, and then suddenly bottom out. We won't hear from him for 15 years when he's 40 pounds heavier and trying to make a comeback with the Saltville Alkalies – and cracking jokes about Jack and Jill will standing on the hill, I mean mound.More Questions & Answers...
