Question:Although everyone knows he took something (your head doesn't triple in size from working out) There really is no proof. ALso, they did not make steriods "illegal" until a few years ago. Im not saying it was allowed but nobody was ever tested. Also, although I really dont like Bonds I have to give him credit even if he was juiced (which nobody can prove) steriods does not help your bat speed or ability to hit the ball. If that was the case you would have teams full of bodybuilder and WWE stars.
So this is my take on Barry Bonds...what do you guys and gals think?

Im so tired of this crap. Barry deserves it. Point 1, HE NEVER TESTED POSITEVE. yea he got bigger through his career, but so did Ozzie Smith and he only hit like 30 hr in his whole career. barry has been hitting 40+ since day one. Pt 2 the dude went to see a specialist on improving his eye muscles so he can react to the pitch even faster than before. Last but not least, guess what? even if he did take steroids, HE STILL HAS TO HIT THE @!#*^ BALL. Why do you think hitting is the hardest thing to do in professional sports. You take a round stick and hit a round ball coming at you 95 mph from 60 ft. And he mastered it, and will master it more than 756 times. Aaron and Selig need to man up and show up.ummmmmmmm.... NO!

Question about pitchers hitting in the AL?
I don't like him. Look at how big he was his rookie year and look at how big he is now. There is no doubt that he took steriods he is huge! He used to be really small! I don't want to give him credit for anything because the bigger you are the farther the ball will go, you have to have muscles to hit the ball that far, you can't just put a puny person up there with an okay swing and hit as many homeruns as he could. I don't think that anyone should give him credit. Not to be mean, but I don't like cheaters, especially in sports, it just ruins the fun of the game.No proof, my a**! Look at the bastard! The rest of him about tripled in size, too!
You can't have WWE stars and bodybuilders on your team, if they suck at baseball. Bonds was already very talented before he took anything, which makes his decision to many (me included) all the more maddening. It's not like he was some pine-rider trying to stay in baseball--THAT kind of guy, I could understand. Bonds was already a star, and his greed for money, records, and fame overtook his senses, and he began taking HGH or whatever crap it was which turned him into the grotesque humanoid we see today.
It's not so much about "legality" as it is about ETHICS. That is what gives a person integrity, when they consistently and for a long time choose what is right over what is popular or easier. He made his choice, and look what it has done for him. He has been convicted in the court of public opinion, and baseball is all the worse for it. Too bad.
I think he is just a naturally good hitter whether he took steroids or not.

well OK I believe he took something but after he stopped his body would be all messed up and he would become a worse player but he could still hit homers and that's why i like him he could still get the bat around and get contact on the ball and he is in the 4rth spot again .

Barry should be celebrated because he played in the steroid era where all of his opponents were just as likely "juiced" and he still managed to elevate his game to god-like levels. He hit off more talented pitchers than home run kings before him and he deserves to see his name in the Hall of Fame right alone side the greats that preceded him.More Questions & Answers...
