Question:Like I said they have a good young team. But they have`nt proven anything to anyone right now. Except they are in an inept division. Put them in the A.L. Central and see what happens.

I'm not a Brewers fan ,but I think they do have a chance because of the division they do play in. Last year the American league was far supperior to the National league. The Mets were the best, but maybe ranked 5th in all of baseball. St. Louis wins the world series go figure. If a team gets hot it may win. The Brewers are as good as anyone in thier division. If they make the playoffs who knows what might happen.I'm not a Brewer fan, but I'd say EVERY TEAM has a chance.

I've been saying since January that the Brewers were finally going to be competitive this season, for the first time since 1992.This is what happens when a teams re-signs a broken down old pitcher (Teddy Higuera) and then whines about not having the money to re-up one of the best players they'd ever had. And keeps whining and whining about not having money but keeps making bad choices.
Then again, I live in Toronto, and in this neck of the woods, we say thanks for that decision.

Of Making the playoffs? Maybe but of winning the world series, no chance. You can't have one good starter in Ben Sheets and then Chris Capuano and Dave Bush as 2 and 3, and I don't even know who is their 4 and 5 starter. If they had guy like Dan Haren and a guy like Nate Robertoson, of the Detroit Tigers, they could make a run cuz the offense is there.Why did david wright choose cassie's song "me and you", for his at-bat song?

So what is your point? You say put them in the AL Central and see what happens. As I remember it last year - our AL Central was far and away the best division in baseball, and the team out of the NL Central (you know - the "inept" division) kicked the Tigers around and those same "inept" Cardinals won the World Series.So yes - the Brewers have a chance. This White Sox fan sure thinks so. Went to see them beat the Cubs twice now. They have good starting pitching, good setup guy, good closer, and a good balanced lineup. And they are in an "inept" divsion.
