Need some help increasing my accuracy?
Question:I play 1st base and have great throwing speed but horrible accuracy. My coach told me to get a trash can and lay it down then stand about 30-40 feet away and throw a baseball in as fast as I can while remaining accurate. I've done this a couple hours a day for a while and it's working but it kills my arm so I need something else I can do to help increase accuracy that takes less energy. And i only have access to a baseball field twice a week when we have practice.

Practice, practice, practice... thats all you can really do to practice accuracy.Try creating a small strike out box somehow and try throwing it there.

there is only one thing to it practice, practice, practice and some more practice. You might just also have a flaw in the way you throw your footing could be off or your arm delivery coould be screwing up your mechanics.
