I see the Cards will be without Carpenter for a while. How is this gonna hurt the Cardinals?

Question:

Answers:

What state has the least number of pro baseball players excluding Hawaii and Alaska?

Losing you ace pitcher is never good. The Cardinals really don't have a lot of options at this point. They could package a trade but they really can't afford to lose any other quality position players either.

They will just have to make the best of it until Carpenter returns.

Why are there no left handed second basemen?

the cards are done.

MN Twins question?

the cards wil work around it did you see that they r winning right now? thats because rolen is comming out of his slump with a 2 rbi double to put them in the lead. they also called up a couple of pitchers and ryan ludwick to take the place of preston wilson because he is on the DL right now. Ryan just got an rbi today so i think he will be good with helping out the team.

Has there ever been one player to account for all three outs in an inning of a MLB game?

well if the offense is there, then i think they will get through it, but if its not then think of it as the Cardinals with no Pujols

Who plays for the minor league at Parks Field in Summerville,SC?

It does hurt the rotation considerably. When you have relievers switching to starters and young guns coming up while your ace goes down for the majority of the season, it's not always a bad thing.

What happens when someone gets hurt and goes on the DL? Someone else gets called up or signed. When you have adversity of this type you open the door to guys waiting in AAA that have been waiting for a moment to shine in the big show.

Since Carpenter has been out since the first week of the season, it's not like this news right now is damaging the rotation. The rotation at the start of the season had 4 guys that weren't on the Cardinals opening day rotation the year before. Mark Mulder brings a little hope with his return sometime mid-season.

Don't count out the Cardinals, they've been through a lot as an organization since 2000. With the death of Darryl Kile in 2002 they turned their season around, won the division, and made it to the NLCS. Josh Hancock's death is another rough loss to get through. The season is only just over a month in. There's still over 100 games to be played so don't count anyone out just yet.

Who is your favorite currently?

They are losing their best pitcher for most of the year and the team is one of the worst teams this year. They have no chance of winning it this year.

Who will win the interleague series between the Brewers and the Twins?

Cards are having a hard time right now, but it's early in the season and I would rather see them have their hard time now and still have time to get out of it, rather then see them start having a hard time late in the season with no chance to pull out of it.
They've done some rotations and won today with a fairly new pitcher. They have just as much chance as any team to go all the way.
Go Cards!
