Pitching Trouble?
Question:I am having a trouble pitching in my baseball league. I seem to have no control over my throws and I seem to be throwing slower and slower. When I practice I do fine, but when I am in the game I seem to choke. I am not nervous when I pitch, but I think I might be losing my confidence. Any tips?

In Your Opinion, Who Are The 3 Best Lead-Off Hitters Of All Time?
man calm down. i played for the american legion here where i live. i never played one whole game. i know what its like to have bad confidence. i just had to shake it off and know that i am just as good if not better than anyone on the field. i just had to know that and play like it. so after that season i played for my highschool, and i will be all-county pitcher and possibly all-league or maybe state. you just need to loosen up on the mound. when your lying in bed at night, i know this sounds stupid but it works, just invision yourself going out and dominating a game. be loose and FOCUS. be thinking about nothing else but pitching the whole way to the game and nothing but pitching the night before when you are in bed and dont let anything rattle you when you are pitching. if you give up a bomb, just tip your hat and just keep pitching. dont give up on yourself. when you are pitching try to change speeds more. get ahead with your fastball, and then throw some off-speed stuff. when you throw a curve or change it doesn't even have to be for a strike, so if its a ball dont worry about it. sometimes you just want to give the hitter a different look. change the eyelevel of the hitter. so you dont always have to throw strikes. when you are ahead of the hitter 0-2, do NOT throw a strike. throw a fastball at the hitters eyes ans a lot of the time you will get the hitter to chase it. just be smart on the mound. if you are having trouble its not becasue your not good its that your not using your head enough. you have to be smart and hit your spots. a lot of the time when you are throwing your fastball its not ALL about speed its hitting your spots and working low. and you dont have to strike everyone out, you have a defence and they will help you. if you need anything else email me and i would be glad to help you.one bad ball can lead to another, make sure your first throw is your best then your off to a good start
What is the best batting AND Pitching Average a baseball player can get?
You might have to work just a little harder. Add some more throws in practice. Make sure to treat every pitch you throw as if you are in a game in practice. You might even want to change your work-out for a bit. Your arm might also be a little worn-out from pitching too much and need some rest. I don't know your body, but you do, so try to figure out what works best for you.try pitching a against a lower level of competition -- a sort of trip to "the minors" to allow you to get your confidence back
